Come to the Bright Hills to celebrate the Persian New Year, which usually occurs on March 21. It has been a tradition since the time of Zoraster (1750 to 600 BCE) and continues to this day. Our celebration will focus on the period following the demise of the Caliphate (661) up to the time of the Mongol invaders (1219). During this time, Nowruz was elevated to an even more important event. Nowruz was welcomed in a majestic hall, wherein servants had placed gold and silver plates and vases full of fruit and colorful flowers. Musicians and singers add to the festivities. Come and enjoy our merry celebration with sweets, displays of gold and red, flowers, candy, cookies, pastries and live plants. Wear your finest Persian garb and share in our Persian Feast.
