The following illuminations are scrolls done by the Bright Hills Illumination Guild.


Lord Denis de Dijon Award of Arms scroll is a wooden triptych based on the Hours of Henry VIII. This is done to also work as a devotional piece and is St. Sebastian (fol.179) made around 1500 by Jean Poyet.

This is a large piece about 3 feet by 5 feet and is on raw cotton canvas. This is based on heraldic display practices from the 1300's and was done as a "Thank You" for Sir Forgal.

Master Tristan Alexander's Court Baronage scroll. My first wooden triptych-style scroll. All the elements on this scroll are taken from Italian Renaissance manuscripts from 1450-1550 and can be found in the book The Painted Page.
