Greetings:
The Woodworkers Guild is an informal gathering of baronial members who pursue various medieval and Renaissance woodworking arts. We get together once a month, usually the 4th Sunday afternoon in Towson, 1 to 5:30 p.m., where we work on our own projects, ask for and give advice, and eat. Anyone who is interested in woodworking -- carving, cabinet making, wood turning, finishing, burning, etc. -- is more than welcome to join us. Examples of what we do include: making thrones for Atlantian royalty, turning bowls from freshly cut cherry, making about half a dozen marudai (a Japanese braid making loom) for members of the Barony in a single day, cutting a stool down to size, etc. Our motto is: "If you need it, and it's made of wood, we can help you make it."
