Polling Orders

The Order of St. Barbara
(Fieldless) On a chalice argent a decresent sable

Charter for the Order of St. Barbara

  1. The Order of St. Barbara is to be a polling Order.
  2. Only members of the Barony who have been involved with the Barony for 10 years or more are eligible for this Award.
  3. The Baron/Baroness may not induct anyone into the Order unless the Order is in agreement.
  4. At least 2/3rds of the Order must agree before someone may be inducted into this Order.
  5. In case of a tie vote for a candidate, the Principal of the Order has the right to a second vote to break the tie.

A mountain of three peaks couped sable charged with a moon in her plenitude argent.

Order of Job

This award is given in recognition to members of the populace who have given long term service to Bright Hills.

Order of the Silberberg
A mountain of three peaks couped sable, in fess a gauntlet fesswise reversed and a gauntlet fesswise argent.

Order of the Silberberg

This award is given in recognition for instruction in the Marshal Arts as well as fighting.

Order of the Shell and Crescent
On an escallop inverted sable a decrescent argent.

This award is given in recognition of skills in the Arts and Sciences.

Order of the Silver Scroll
A mountain of three peaks couped sable an open scroll fesswise argent.

This award is given in recognition for instruction in the field of Arts and Sciences.

Order of the Augean Stables
A mountain of three peaks couped argent a decrescent sable.

Order of the Augean Stables

This award recognizes those who have enriched the Barony either with one great deed or over extreme effort over a short period of time.

This award recognizes the service and enthusiasm of new comers. It was developed to honor Tessa of Crossgate, who though not with us long did exemplify what it means to be an Atlantian.

On an oak leaf argent a heart gules.

Order of the Silver Oak Leaf

Children are the future of the world and those who show willingness to learn and grow, to make the world, Kingdom, and Barony a brighter place do so receive this recognition. This order was formerly known as the Heart of the Oak.

Given as a token of thanks for the everyday hard work performed by a member of the hard-working barony. This recognition is retired during the tenure of Baron Barre and Baroness Cordelia.

Given as a token from Baroness Ekaterina Vladimirovna. This recognition was retired on April 28, 2001.

Order of the Blackstar

Given as a token by the Founding Baron and Baroness at their investiture to three individuals: Mistress Jeanne de Bec, Master Chirhart Blackstar, and Mistress Anne of Hatfield. These three gentles were recognized for their willingness to open their home to host Investiture, when the original site was closed due to snow.
