I am Lord Alexander Fowler, Minister of the List for the Barony of Bright Hills. The office of Minister of the List, commonly called the MoL, is primarily that of scorekeeper for the various fighting events. The duties of an MoL are to oversee tournaments, melees and authorizations. We are responsible for checking each fighter's authorization card so they may participate in fighting at events and we are responsible for the paperwork that creates the authorization cards issued by the Kingdom Minister of the List. It is our recording of tournament scores that are sent in to the Kingdom MoL for the Kingdoms records. We work hand in hand with the Marshals at tournaments to ensure a safe and legal event. An MoL is required for each event where fighting will take place. Only at a fighter practice is there no requirement for an MoL to be present.
